Guizhou Lusheng Festival Tour 2025(in November)

Arrival at Guiyang airport or Railway Station.
Our driver and guide pick you up and transfer to Wudong Miao village. It takes you 2.5 hours to Wudong.

Drive to Langde Upper Miao village, experience Langde Miao welcome ceremony.

Langde Upper Miao Village, renowned as "the Hometown of Chinese Folk Song and Dance Art," located approximately 28 kilometers away from Kaili. This charming village offers a refreshing escape from bustling crowds, embracing a tranquil natural ambiance while welcoming visitors with open arms and showcasing its rich cultural heritage. Upon reaching the village, you will be greeted with genuine warmth through a traditional welcome ceremony with the lovely ladies and girls, elegantly adorned in traditional Miao costumes offering "block-the-way" wine. Allow the flavors of the wine to delight your senses while immersing yourself in the genuine hospitality of the villagers. Following the convivial toasts, immerse yourself further in the vibrant atmosphere as you witness an enthralling singing and dancing performance at the Lusheng Ground. Here, the talented men of the village will skillfully play the Lusheng, a traditional musical instrument, while the graceful ladies showcase their artistry through mesmerizing dances. Should you wish, feel free to join in the dance. To enrich your experience, you can take part in the village's Cultural Program which usually includes catching fish in the field, picking fresh vegetable in the farm and learning to make embroidery. 

After lunch in Langde, we take a short drive to Leigong mountain, and hike in the valley of waterfalls and then drive back to Kaili city. 

Visit Qingman Miao village, and Shiqiao Miao village, where you can see people making paper with trees' bark which can be dated back to 1300 years ago in China. After you visit Shiqiao we drive to Chong'an, possibly have a chance to see a small festival in Chong'an today.

Lusheng festival in Gulong!                

Drive to visit Lusheng festival in Gulong, enjoy the festival parade, festival dance and bull fight..

Drive  to Zhenyuan after spend time in the festival in the afternoon. 

We suggest you prepare your lunch or snacks today, since it is hard to find a good restaurant in Gulong.  

Visit Black Dragon Cave temples in the morning, and drive to Danglang village for rice harvest festival after you lunch in Zhenyuan.

Visit the UNESCO scenic area called Xiaoqikong, famous for its natural landscapes.

Visit the local night food market in the evening.

As the unparalleled Karst forest on the same latitude in the world, Xiaoqikong is praised as “The Emerald on the Belt of the Earth”. Strolling around the Karst natural landscape at Xiaoqikong(Seven Small Arches) and Maolan National Nature Reserve in Libo, apart from the exquisite scenery of “Head up like Zhangjiajie, Head down as Jiuzhaigou”, there are also rich ethnic customs. Primitive villages of Bouyei Minority, the peculiar culture of Shui Minority, the strange customs in Yao villages and the exquisite clothes and handicrafts in Miao villages are all very appealing. When summer is coming, why not invite your friends to conquer the water in Shuichun River, experience the thrill of going up and down with the waves. When the sun goes down, ramble around local snack street, drink a bowl of cool bayberry juice and taste sour foods and fresh fish dishes. That is the full accomplishment of the Libo tour.

Drive back to Guiyang airport for the flight departure, the trip ends.
