Daxiaojing Scenic Area

Daxiaojing Scenic Area: A Natural Heaven of Caves, Rivers, and Bamboo

The Daxiaojing Scenic Area, located 23 kilometers from Luodian County, is a provincial-level scenic spot known for its beautiful and elegant rural scenery. The Ming River flows through the area, creating picturesque scenes that are praised as the "world's wonders" and the "Eastern Cave Museum." Nearly a hundred typical caves, such as Daxiaojing Cave, Shizi Cave, and Moon Cave, are connected, forming a unique landscape of mountains, water, and caves bestowed by nature.

The Hundred Steps Bridge Pier, water wheels, and water mills form a beautiful river valley scenery with the stone walls and river water. Listening carefully to the sound of the river washing against the rocks, surrounded by green bamboo and clear water, with a slight cool breeze brushing over your face... it allows your body and mind to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and blend naturally into this picturesque landscape.

Boating on the Bawang River, you can experience the unique beauty of Daxiaojing. The river surface is rolling with waves, shimmering with light, and the two springs merge. The riverbanks are densely covered with green bamboo, with Phoenix Tail Bamboo opening like the tail of a phoenix, arranged in a staggered and orderly manner, resembling thousands of phoenixes facing the dragon, which is quite spectacular. The scenic area offers bamboo rafting experiences, paddle board experiences, water bungee jumping, a cool water bar, unique homestay camping, ethnic costume experiences, ethnic song performances, and water raft singing contests.
